On Thursday afternoon, Christine and I headed to the famous Funaokayama onsen. It is probably my favorite onsen here in Kansai. I haven't been to that many, but it is very near my school, so quite convenient. We tried out most of the different pools including a medicinal one, a very cold one, and the kind with water shooting out, massaging your back. We also went into the sauna for a bit. The place is kind of old fashioned, but they had hair dryers that you could use for about 3 minutes for only 30 yen. Good deal. We had some cold milk afterwards since Christine said she saw it once in an anime episode. (^o^)
We went to Cafe Sarasa for dinner after the onsen, and had green curry and dessert..something with banana in it. It was all very tasty. Christine and I had a nice time chatting. I almost forgot my phone at the restaurant and had to walk to the number 59 bus at about 9 to get home. (It had been raining earlier so I took public transport to school.) I didn't have to wait at all so I got very lucky. I love Japanese public transport. :)
